- Prepare the Sun Tea: Place 6-8 black tea bags into a clean, large glass jar and fill with 8 cups of filtered water. Cover securely.
- Brew the Sun Tea: Place the jar in a sunny spot for 3-5 hours until desired strength is reached.
- Cool the Sun Tea: Remove tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Make the Simple Lemonade: Juice lemons to get about 1.5 cups of juice. Combine with 1 to 1.5 cups of sugar and 4 cups of cold water in a pitcher, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Combine the Punch: Pour the chilled sun tea into the lemonade mixture and stir gently.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least an hour, then serve over ice with garnishes.
