Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Fresh or Frozen Strawberries
  • 1/2 Cup Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Cup Almond Milk (or choice of milk)
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1 Teaspoon Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1/2 Cup Ice Cubes (only if using fresh berries)

Method
 

  1. Prepare your fruit and herbs by washing the strawberries and removing the hulls, and rinsing the basil leaves.
  2. Place the liquid ingredients (milk and yogurt) into the blender first.
  3. Add the strawberries, basil leaves, and sweetener to the blender.
  4. Secure the lid and start blending on low speed, gradually increasing to high for about 45-60 seconds.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness as needed, then blend again if necessary.
  6. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

Use frozen strawberries for a thicker consistency. Adjust sweetness based on the ripeness of the strawberries. Serve in a glass that makes you feel happy.
