Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Decoration: orange frosting, black decorating gel, candy eyes, mini marshmallows, chocolate cookies, gummy worms

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. Stir sugar into the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then mix in vanilla extract.
  5. Sift together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until no flour streaks remain.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
  8. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Cool completely in the pan before decorating.
  11. Cut into squares and decorate with frosting and toppings.

Notes

Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. For longer storage, freeze undecorated brownies for up to 3 months.
