  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons white wine (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Method
 

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. If using white wine, add it now and let it simmer for about 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  6. Pour the warm sauce into small serving bowls and serve immediately.
