Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 6 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons coarse sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the biscuit can and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  3. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Carefully add the baking soda.
  4. Reduce heat to a gentle simmer. Drop 6-8 biscuit pieces into the baking soda water and let them simmer for 30 seconds.
  5. Remove the pretzel bites biscuits using a slotted spoon and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Repeat the boiling process with remaining biscuit pieces.
  7. Brush each piece generously with melted butter.
  8. Sprinkle coarse sea salt over the buttered pretzel bites biscuits.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until deep golden brown.
  10. Let them cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

These pretzel bites biscuits are best enjoyed warm. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 5-7 minutes.
