Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 5-6 large lemons)
  • 1.5 cups bourbo
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust for desired sweetness)
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 1 handful fresh mint leaves (for muddling and garnish)
  • Ice cubes (as needed)

Method

  1. Blend three sliced peaches with honey and a splash of water until smooth to create a puree.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the peach puree and fresh lemon juice, stirring to mix well.
  3. Add the bourbon and cold water, stirring again to integrate all ingredients.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey or tartness with more lemon juice as needed.
  5. Fill glasses with ice, add fresh peach slices and mint leaves, then pour the Peach Bourbon Lemonade over the ice.
  6. Serve immediately while cold.

Notes

Use ripe peaches for the best flavor. Chill your water and lemon juice before mixing to keep the drink cold. Large ice cubes melt slower and help maintain the drink's flavor.
