Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin generously.
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk together thoroughly.
- Create a well in the center of dry ingredients. Pour in milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla. Whisk until just combined.
- Fill each muffin cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with 2-3 tablespoons milk until smooth.
- Remove muffins from the tin. Dip the tops into the glaze while still warm and sprinkle with cereal.
- Let the muffins set for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use colorful cereals like Fruit Loops or Fruity Pebbles for best results. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for longer storage.
