Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pint Cherry or Grape Tomatoes
  • 8 Ounces Mozzarella Pearls
  • 1 Large Bunch Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 2 Tablespoons Balsamic Glaze
  • 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt & Black Pepper to Taste
  • 24-30 Toothpicks or Skewers

Method
 

  1. Wash the cherry tomatoes and pat them dry.
  2. Pick the basil leaves off the stems and tear large leaves if necessary.
  3. Drain the mozzarella pearls and pat them dry.
  4. Assemble the bites by threading a cherry tomato, a folded basil leaf, and a mozzarella pearl onto a toothpick.
  5. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  6. Arrange on a serving plate and drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  7. Sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper before serving.

Notes

Assemble the bites just before serving for the best freshness. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
