Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pound Thick-Cut Baco
  • 1/4 Cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Pinch Cayenne Pepper (optional)
  • 1 Teaspoon Dijon Mustard (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top.
  2. Arrange the bacon slices on the wire rack in a single layer.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, black pepper, and cayenne. Brush the mixture on top of each bacon slice.
  4. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, then flip the bacon and brush the other side with the glaze. Bake for another 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Let the bacon rest for 5 minutes before serving.
