Ingredients

  • 1 (14-16 oz) bag Bagged Coleslaw Mix or 4-5 cups shredded cabbage and carrots
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Hot Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Celery Seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Chives or Parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

  1. Empty the bag of coleslaw mix into a large mixing bowl. If using fresh cabbage and carrots, shred them thinly and add to the bowl. Toss to distribute.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, hot honey, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, celery seed, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the coleslaw mix and gently toss until everything is coated.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, stir again and garnish with fresh chives or parsley if desired.

Notes

Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance flavor. Adjust hot honey to taste for desired spiciness.
