- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare the pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate.
- Blind bake the crust for 10 minutes with weights, then remove weights and bake for another 5 minutes.
- Layer diced ham and shredded Swiss cheese in the crust, then sprinkle with chopped green onions.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, whole milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture over the ham and cheese in the crust. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Check for doneness with the jiggle test; the edges should be set with a slight jiggle in the center.
- Let the quiche rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
