- Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs and set aside 1 cup for the top layer.
- Press the remaining cookie crumbs into the bottom of a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
- Beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar and mix until creamy.
- Whisk together pudding mix and cold milk for exactly two minutes, then let it set for five minutes before spreading over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread the whipped topping over the pudding layer and sprinkle reserved cookie crumbs on top.
- Arrange Easter candies on top for decoration.
- Refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight before serving.
