Method
 

  1. Grab a large mixing bowl or a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  2. Add your milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to the container. Whisk everything together vigorously until the cocoa powder completely dissolves.
  3. Pour in the chia seeds. Whisk or shake immediately and thoroughly.
  4. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes, then whisk or shake again.
  5. Cover your container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, though overnight works best.
