- In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the whole milk and water over medium-high heat until it reaches a gentle boil.

- Once the oats reach desired consistency, stir in dark brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and pure vanilla extract.
- Add unsalted butter and stir until melted. Let sit for 2 minutes before serving.
