- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook bacon until crispy, then crumble it. Dice vegetables into small pieces.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, whisk eggs with salt and pepper, and scramble until just set.
- Unroll both tubes of crescent dough and pinch seams together to form a large rectangle.
- Cut 1-inch strips along both long sides of the dough, leaving the center third intact.
- Layer scrambled eggs down the center of the dough, top with cheese, crumbled meat, bell peppers, and green onions.
- Fold strips over the filling at an angle, alternating sides to create a braid.
- Brush the braid with beaten egg and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Keep ingredients dry to avoid sogginess. Don't skip the egg wash for a golden finish. Let the braid rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
