- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and butter a 9-inch pie dish.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and chop.
- Sauté the diced onion in the bacon grease for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream until smooth. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Stir in cheese, bacon, and onions until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and tap to release air bubbles.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the center is set and golden brown.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Use room temperature eggs for better blending. Sauté vegetables to reduce moisture. Avoid overbaking to maintain creaminess.
