Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Open the biscuit dough and separate into individual biscuits. Gently flatten each one slightly.
- Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces.
- Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Place about two tablespoons of chopped apple filling in the center of each flattened biscuit. Sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Fold the biscuit dough over the filling, creating a half-moon shape. Press edges firmly with a fork to seal.
- Brush each filled biscuit with melted butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
- Arrange on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
- While biscuits bake, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Remove biscuits from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle with the vanilla glaze while still warm.
Notes
Keep biscuit dough cold for flakiness. Seal edges well to prevent leaking. Brush with butter for a golden finish. Serve warm for best flavor.
